We are wrapping up the current phase of Colorado MESA Initiative workshops. There are currently no live training workshops scheduled. Please check back for future updates.
Welcome to the Colorado M.E.S.A. Initiative
Thanks for your interest and participation. The Colorado M.E.S.A. Initiative is currently on hiatus. We have wrapped the initial 18-month pilot program and filed our final evaluation report with The Colorado Health Foundation. We intend to submit a new proposal in October, 2010, for additional funding to continue this important work.
In the meanwhile, if you participated in the pilot program and have a username, you can still access the Classroom section of this website and view all training materials.

M.E.S.A. Initiative: Instruction, Ideas and Inspiration
We've all heard the disconcerting news:the population is aging and the supply of physicians serving our senior population is not growing proportionately. A dire shortfall of primary care physicians, especially in the rural areas of Colorado, is anticipated and we're beginning to feel the impact even now.
